A Unique Heritage School :
Located at the highest point of Bhopal in the pristine surroundings , a part of the present building and the present campus was constructed at the turn of the century sometime in 1901, when the erstwhile ruling family of Bhopal moved to Shamla Hills. Our building is amongst the few heritage structures located in Bhopal and can easily be termed as the Heritage School of Bhopal.

Academics
Westwind School methodology is totally based on multiple intelligence theory that ensures whole brain learning and build a strong foundation in early learning years.
The primary school has a well-designed curriculum in order to promote the child’s holistic development and help him/her to grow into a well-rounded personality.
The middle school curriculum is based on the modern educational approach, which marks a shift from teaching to learning. and focuseson equipping the students with essential skills.

In our concerted efforts towards this objective, we are pleased to announce that the Principal Mrs Humaira Arif and the Vice-Principal, Ms Anubha Mishra, have been selected from among many stakeholders across India , to attend the Exclusive 'Shadowing& Learning Program' at Helsinki Finland which focuses on visit and learning about innovative teaching styles and curriculum, at the renowned schools in Helsinki. As we all are aware, Finland is known worldwide for its revolutionary Education System.
During this training, Mrs Arif shall be learning significant pedagogical practices applicable for the senior school and, Ms Mishra shall be learning about the teaching practices being implemented at the Primary level of the Finnish schools. We look forward to utilising this valuable training experience for providing more productive learning experiences to your children that will make them self- reliant , emotionally strong individuals with a global perspective.
We would also like to share that Post-covid , the Principal and the Vice-Principal of the school had been selected to represent the school and attend the EduTech Asia Conference at Singapore . This learning helped us to build a supportive learning environment for your children and work effectively on their overall well being and development .

This is to inform you that discipline is an integral part of our School and this includes the uniform policy of the school.
Therefore, all the students must come to school in Proper School Uniform including the prescribed socks and shoes. The onus of sending the children in neat, well-fitting and decent uniform, lies with Parents. Boys must sport a neat and clean look with Short Hair Cut and a Clean Shave. Girls should keep their hair properly tied and braided.
However, despite after repeated reminders some students are not maintaining proper Hair Cut.
Monday onwards Hair Cut will be done in School for such students. If Parents have any concern or query regarding the above-mentioned matter, please inform the Class Teacher.
Parents' cooperation is solicited in this regard.
