Bal Bhawan School is affiliated to CBSE. From Grade 1 to Grade8, we follow the books of the Candid publishers and NCERT which provide informative and latest teaching material for the holistic development of the child. The curriculum of the school has been lucidly designed with the aim to cater the needs of all 3 types of learners ie: Visual, Audio and Kinaesthetic learners.

This programme is designed as pre- CBSE foundation level. Middle School offers caring, safe and supportive environment in which students can thrive on change, prepare for high school and establish good habits for lifelong learners.

Bal Bhawan School offers Middle School learners a plethora of engaging activities to ensure smooth learning experience.The Scholastic areas in the Middle School curriculum delve into deeper content knowledge in the areas of Maths, Social Studies, Science, English, Hindi, Computer Science and Value Education. Also offering a third language option which includes French, Urdu, Sanskrit and Arabic. The curriculum prepares students for challenges of senior school and competitive exams. Teachers facilitate and use a combination of teaching methodologies in course of teaching-learning process and class interaction including group and individual projects, think-pair-share, role plays, debates, discussions, games, case studies, simulations, demonstrations with the help of audio-visual classroom equipment.

  • Non-Scholastic areas of curriculum include physical education, environmental education and performing arts. Students are encouraged to actively participate in Intra-School and Inter-School competitions. Inter-House competitions and Inter-Section activities, exhibitions, Open Day and cultural events are conducted on regular basis to enhance their self confidence, physical as well as mental health.

    As per NEP on physical education, a variety of Clubs and Activities help students to explore and grow their innate qualities and abilities for an over all development in a true sportsman spirit.

    To help students deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life and be able to adjust in different circumstances, life skills are integrated into regular school curriculum through different activities and teaching process. These activities help students to think creatively, critically, communicate effectively, build healthy relations and empathize with others.
